Integrative Psychiatry for children and adults

Integrative Psychiatry is much more than medication management

This approach to mental health recognizes both the usefulness and the limitations of medications, and offers additional tools to establish, support and maintain  whole person  well- being.  This means that treatment  with  medications may be combined  with non-medication options, such as mindfulness-based interventions, life-style optimization, and nutritional supplementation.

Well-being plans are individualized, they are developed collaboratively, and incorporate the unique goals and perspectives of patients and their families.  All treatment options offered by Dr. Bowers are evidence-informed, based on the medical and scientific literature.
